1. Conscious Evolution – Solutions for a Sustainable Future (In the Mezzanine)
Futurist and author Barbara Marx Hubbard will address the process of
our birth as a Universal Humanity: how we get from “here”, our current
global crises of overpopulating, polluting, using weapons of mass
destruction, destroying other species, etc. to “there”, a society that
is cooperative, environmentally sustainable, socially compassionate and
evolutionary. She will present a new memetic code for a positive future
outlining an innovative developmental path for our self, social and
scientific evolution. The presentation will include clips from
Barbara’s revealing new film, Visions of a Universal Humanity, in which
she interviewed nine of the greatest visionaries of our time.
2. 2012 Time for Change: From Conscious Evolution to Practical
Solutions (On the Main Stage) - with panel including Joao Amorim,
Daniel Pinchbeck, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Tiokasin Ghosthorse and John
Perry Barlow.
How can we as individuals take action back in to our own hands, change
ourselves and eventually change our communities and then the world? How
can we use tools to promote conscious evolution and move on to an
implementation of ecologically sound practical solutions, combining the
state of the art with the traditional indigenous knowledge systems?
